Heartly Thanks to all of those Volunteers who participated in Iftar Packing Items Day 1. All of the volunteers packed around 8000 packets

we are expecting more Volunteers for the 2nd Day and for the distribution day.

Ramadan Kareem to all brother & sisters.

We have arrangements at our compound mosque for completion of full Quran in Trawi prayers during this month of Ramadan. We are doing 20 Rakats. There is arrangement for both brothers and sisters.

Alhamdulillah we have 2 young hafiz brothers who share in reading the trawis.

Our location is in old airport area, behind lulu hyper market and next to E-Ring road.

If any brothers/sisters are interested in joining us, please PM me and I can send you link to the map to our compound.

Salams Everyone,

I am looking for some center in Al-Wabb/Aspire/Azizia area for my daughter (6 years old). I prefer a community center rather than having a teacher coming in for lessons as I want her to learn quran and islamic morals in a group with playing activities rather than a strict class-room/tution settings. If anyone has any knowledge fo such facility, please do share. I wonder if Maryam center offers such classes?

Islam and Yoga
A comparative study of congruence between two traditions

Salât and âsanas.
One of the most obvious correspondences between Islam and hatha yoga is the resemblance of salât to the physical exercises of yoga âsanas. An Indian Muslim author, Ashraf F. Nizami, noted this in his book Namaz, the Yoga of Islam (Bombay: D.B. Taraporevala, 1977).

A new course on DAWAH TO NON MUSLIMS is starting from 3rd January, monday, 2011,The course will be for a period of 1 month only,

Date : 3rd January 2011
Day : Monday
Time : 10 - 12 am
Place : Sister Lubna's house

It is an exhaustive Dawah Training Program to fellow muslim sisters on how to do dawah to non muslims, arranged by IFC Organisation.
The course material will be provided on the first day itself Inshallah.

The contents covered by the course will be as follows:
1. Dawah and Islam
2. Introducing Concept of God to non muslims

You are approaching virtuous days; they are the best days as the Prophetصلى الله عليه و سلم said in an authentic hadeeth: "The best days in this life are the (first) ten days of Dhul-Hijjah".

Furthermore, Allaah swore by them in His Book, and when Allaah swears by something, it is a reflection of its great importance. Allaah says that which translates to: "By the dawn. And the nights of the ten days" (Al Fajr:1-2).
