PWA is organizing Summer Exhibition for ladies clothing & accessories. The exhibition will be held on 17 May 2012, Thursday from 5pm till 10pm, at Al-Wakra Stadium...Tennis Court.
PWA Summer Exhibition is bringing huge variety of stitched & unstitched lawn, cotton, chiffon, designers collections, jewelleries & many other accessories from Pakistan & India; with very reasonable price starting from QR 60 onwards.

PWA Cookery Show & Contest (Chef Zakir)
PWA is excited to announce their first cookery show & contest, where Pakistan's Top Chef Zakir will be cooking live in front of audience & will also be our judge for the cooking contest held on same day.
The event is split into number activities like contest, cooking show & Q&A session directly with Chef Zakir.
The event is held at the Tennis Court, Al-Wakra Stadium on Friday 20th, April 2012, from 5:00pm till 7:30pm.
We invite all the Pakistani ladies to participate in cookery show & contest with fabulous prizes and know more about Chef Zakir's delicious cooking recipes.
The event is open for all ladies with no entrance fee.

PWA free cookery classes for Pakistani ladies
PWA proudly announce FREE cookery classes for Pakistani Ladies on every 2nd Saturday of each month by professional chefs from five star restaurants; teaching live baking, desserts, variety of cuisines & much more. The class will consist of 2 hours from 10am to 12pm with question & answer session at the end directly with the chef.
Each month we will be posting cookery class event with the details on the menu that will cover in class on our Facebook page. We invite all the Pakistani ladies to avail this opportunity.

Pakistan Day Celebration by PWA
On the occasion of Pakistan Day, PWA is celebrating this occasion with 100’s of children who are unfortunate to enjoy basic luxuries of life. On Saturday 24th March at 3pm, PWA team & the supporters will visit the Baloch Colony with a caravan carrying 1,000’s of gifts, juices, Ice creams, meals for over 500 Pakistani children living there.
Basant Mela (spring festival) by PWA
Pakistan Women’s Association (PWA) & TR events (co-organizer) is organizing Basant Mela (Spring Festival) at Al-Wakra Stadium on 1st March 2012, Thursday; from 4pm till 12 midnight. H.E. Sarfraz Khanzada, Pakistani Ambassador to Qatar will inaugurate the event.
It is one of the biggest and colorful event of the year; featuring Live Music, games, shopping stands, free bouncy rides, face painting, henna designing and a dedicated area for desi & fast food etc. In addition, public will have the joy of participating in quiz competition for all ages with fabulous prizes throughout the festival & where the excitement will reach fever pitch. While keeping a healthy family entertainment, we have restricted this festival exclusively for families.

Is there anyone else, who cannot sit at home and write? I have always done my studies and writings outside my home, libraries, cafe's etc. I guess this is a way for me to go to "work". I come home and turn off the computer feeling like I have accomplished my task for the day. I am looking for a like-minded writer, who would like to join me. Sorry guys, ladies only!

Lecture on Breast Cancer Awareness
With the kind support from Embassy of Pakistan, PWA (Pakistan Women’s Association) is organizing Breast Cancer Awareness Lecture on 22, October 2011, Saturday from 10am till 12 noon at Pak Education Centre. This event is exclusively for females only. Mrs. Farzana Khanzada (Pakistani Ambassador’s Wife) will be our chief guest.
Our guest speakers Dr. Shaheen Munzur, MBBS, DCH (Ireland), IBCLC (Austria) & Dr. Arifa Farast, MBBS, BSc, MPH (UK) will spent 1 hour taking about the symptoms of breast cancer & precautionary tips, followed by Question & Answers secession & quiz competition etc.

The Woman in the Glass
When you get what you want in your struggle for self and the world makes you queen for a day just go to the mirror and look at yourself and see what that woman has to say. For it isn't your father or mother or child whose judgment upon you must pass.... the person whose verdict counts most in your life is the one staring back from the glass.
Some people may think you're a straight shooting chum and call you a wonderful girl, but the woman in the glass says you're only a bum if you can't look her straight in the eyes. She's the person to please, never mind all the rest, for she is with you clear up to the end.. and you've passed your most dangerous, difficult test if the woman in the glass is your friend.
