Qatar Living Photography
The classroom session on Friday 11th May was another great success. I want to thank QL's very own MRST for coming along and presenting the Adobe Lightroom course incorporating the rule of thirds. It was a very interesting morning, and even those who use Lightroom already found it interesting and enjoyable.
The next session will be in June probably around the 15th. Group members will receive a message from me closer to the date. In the mean time, keep clicking and lets see some of your images published in the group section please.
Cheers

Shooting Cricket The Wrong Way
Ok yesterday I was invited to watch some cricket by a friend. So I took my camera along in the hope of grabbing a couple of decent shots. I was there for a little over an hour and fired off nearly 400 shots before the cricket ended. I got nothing of value, but I did manage to gain a little bit of knowledge on photographing cricket which I will share with you now.

A really Good secondary camera
Hello members, Good day!
I am looking for a nice compact camera which will be a nice for in my pocket or around that size... My requirements to shortlist a decent camera are:
- Good Image Quality
- A decent zoom
- Decent Low light pics/indoor and outdoor
- Battery life
- A good enough sensor and aperture.
I know all of the above requirements are what almost people yearn for. But just to aid you all a bit, I have shortlisted the following, in order of priority.
1. Canon S100
2. Canon SX 260 IS
3. Canon G1 X
These are based on various reviews from sites like DPWorld, Snapsort, CNet etc. But I would be interested to learn about more options.

Bad weather but I got some shots.
Well the wind was blowing, the sand was blasting and the light was pants, but I got out and took some shots this weekend. Who else made it out?

Hi all i am still very much amature stage any feedback would be great
Took these at the corniche, no tripod so may be a bit out of line
