Hi all,
This is a group for fellow members who share the same passion for table tennis/pingpong like me! We will be meeting every once in a while for a fun game of table tennis.. So I hope to meet you all soon and play some fun game! :)

I am nearly at the end of my stay this time... unfortunately, I didn't find anyone to play with.
As for free places, if you work in Education City or have a friend who does (so he/she can bring you in as a guest), there is a place to play.

Hi,
I introduced myself in a previous message.
I am now in Doha for a month and have my paddle etc.
I emailed the Qatar Table Tennis Association but didn't receive any reply about places to play or clubs.
So if anyone would like to practice some and know a good location, please contact me using sfong at qatar dot cmu dot edu
I am at CMU Qatar in Education City and live in the West Bay area.

introduce myself!
Hi, just want to introduce myself to the table tennis enthusiasts here.
I'll be at CMU (Carnegie Mellon University) Qatar for a month or so starting in November and I'd love to be able to find people to practice/hit with.
I used to play tournaments in the USA but stopped for while. My USATT rating was 2167. Recently, I picked up the game again when I went to Shenzhen, China. See my blog posting on updating my game, i.e. learning reverse penhold (including video clips):
I'm a professor at the University of Arizona. I'm currently on sabbatical at the University of Tokyo. I play once or twice a week here in Japan with a friend.
