This has got to be the best Indian eatery in Doha! The food is excellent - the service is fantastic - the decor and furnishings are first class. I would recommend this place to anybody. BTW, they have non-spicy dishes to choose from as well. |

food was okay, overpriced for the portions, service (when we visited) was not quick or great...decor should not be the reason ppl visit, food should be...not happening,in this case. |

Its one of most comfortable resturant at Qatar for Indian Food. Yes Price is little more but guys you need to pay bit to get 4 Star dinning experience. The Dishes are unique not standard once so you need to select carefully before ordering it for you. People dont know what is good for health & taste that the problem with major of people. Roti is really Wheat unlike mayeda. The Chicken & Meat really cooked with gravy unlike many other put boiled or half roasted to ready gravy to speedup the cooking. Some miss match that happen to one of bigest Hotel resturant so you can account unless regular's/ |

I only had a takeaway from them and yes restaurant is smelly and stuffy. Menu is more varied than many other Indian places. Taste was just average nothing outstanding. Biryani was horrible. Naans become dried plastic impregnated cardboards by the time I reached home. No reason to go back. |

Friends... We been trying our level best to serve the food faster and moreover being Indian food, it needs to be cooked completely. So specially the meat and chicken dishes take time to be cooked, so that it is well made. And when it comes to pricing, as ourselves we give a star hotel service like no other Indian restaurants here in Doha. We have always got excellent feedback from the Nationals and as well as the Expatriates. Regarding the buffet, people need to taste the food more than on the sweets. As my friend said above, only 3 sweets were found and that is just the same amount u find in other restaurants. When we are open with buffet, we make sure that we keep a variety of dishes than serving the same course. And during takeaway specially breads are supposed to be eaten at the restaurant or if taken home it would be as so called "impregnated cardboard's". We also have a party hall on the top called 'The Pearl Lounge' which can accommodate 100 and above with your own choice of buffet dishes as per your order. Regards, |

of course, its over priced, management may have many reasons to say for over pricing, but the quantity is less, and the taste is also same as caravan , asiana etc: |

its a very nice place to go The food is great. Its a bit pricey, but they do provide a star feeling in the service. Dishes have more variety in them. Me and frends always go there for celebrating occasions and have a nice time. The waiters/waitresses are also pretty cool. They have this nice army caps which they wear while serving.Definitely a family place to be |

Have been to Alishan four times now. Last two times the food was BAD. I asked for prawns, it seemed they were fried in the morning and reheated and served in the morning. The bread was clod as ever. Waste of money and mood. |

The BEST Indian restaurant at Doha, as a regular customer you are remembered and served better - whatever you want. I have seen lot of Locals also come to Alishan for their food quality and ambiance. The Mango chutney - superb - thay give you a smuch as you want. I go for that also . Nowadays it is getting crowded, if you have small party of more than ten - book in advance. We go for all parties to alishan. Once my daughters birthday could not be done there as we were late for bookin. BEST FOOD // VERY GOOD STAFF // GOOD AMBIANCE // LOCATION AWAY FROM TRAFFIC -- THUMBS UP |

Love Aalishan.... The food is excellent and plenty. Never paid more than QR150 for no less than 5/6 dishes, which we can never finish between 3 of us. Its homely and the atmosphere is pleasant. If you are looking for cafertia prices, go to the cafertia... Aalishan's food is as good as Chingari in Ramada, at a much more affordable cost. Keep up the goodwork Aalishan:-) |
