Had a great time. The food was great. The portions were medium. The price was way too high. I mean 24 bucks for a small dish of Raita (yogurt plus spices).

Decor is lovely. Food is totally ordinary and quite pricey. I wouldn't mind paying extra if the food was worth it...which it's not.

But, it's nice to try out at least once.

I'm not Indian, so I admit I have no clue if the food was authentic. But I can say I didn't think it was great.

The decor is alright. The service is pretty ordinary and the prices are quite high.

I wouldn't go back to this place. There are much better Indian restaurants in Doha.

Tried Asha's but was not satisfied.
1. Tried Mixed Grill.....was as ok as it would be anywhere in Doha.

2. Tried Vindalo Gosht.....nothing impressive.

3. Mutter Paneer......below average....

4. Dal Thadka.....ok.

5. Prices......Double....

.....1 Tandoor Roti = QR10!!! Now Compared to Al Osra which is QR 1.

But the service is friendly and nice.....without which it would have been a very average experience!!!

To be fair, I guess I have to give it one more try!

I think, They should put Songs which Asha has Sung in Indian or Anyother Language. It will be more enjoyable to have food there by listening music.

FOOD--was lovely, but the size was small for the cost. If you want real Indain food at a good price, go somewhere else.

SERVICE--fantastic. The waiter was nice and attentive. He gave great suggestions and even doctored our orders a bit to make them better.

ATMOSPHERE--if you sit inside it is fine. The mall can fade away a bit, but you still remember that it's there. The noise and florecent lights are hard to ignore. Again, if you want a more private and dining-in place, find another one.

I liked Mango Lassi. Kebab's are nice with spice cuttny. Ambience is good. Overall we were satisfied.
I can say it is not for everyone who can afford but you need to experience the delicacy.

The Decor is awesome! Really nice place to sit and relax. Tried the butter chicken and chicken biriyani, both were mediocre unfortunately. Their appetizers are delicious though. Think I'll go back and just order several appetizers only :) Price is a little high too and not really worth it as there are better places to eat Indian food, however it is a nice place to sit and enjoy the ambience.

Quite a different one in Villagio, when compared to all those fast food chains out there.
The waitress who welcomes you with her american accent sounds out of place but is quite pleasant...
The food was excellent. The papaya pickle served along with the starters was so good that we did'nt mind the waiter bringing a second larger helping.
The Moroccan waiter was very friendly and entertained us with his anecdotes, until the food came..
It might be a little pricey, but when you are in Villagio, expect to spend a little more than in a cafeteria.....
