Of all the biriyani dishes I have tasted in Qatar .. Biriyani Hut is the worst ever ! ... I wont talk about the price that much .. coz one .. its made the traditional way .. using the earthen pot .. which was SUPPOSED to give u that good taste .. but sadly biriyani hut fails miserably in my list ! .. very poor place to eat .. I was a chef, I know the fact .. that every biriyani is not the same .. but they dont give any value for traditional dishes .. it a fact that two can eat from one plate of biriyani .. but sadly, its tastes like dhum biriyani with side dished meat mixed right before you were served. I used to think ol' Welcome restaurant had mediocre biriyani's .. but now .. this a whole new level of borderline ! .. bad presentation in food, the place .. thou meant as a take away service .. should have been thought thru thoroughly before selecting the color scheme ! .. the place does not look anywhere inviting or even good to make you think of sitting in ! Garden restaurant should rethink the exterior design and colors .. and rethink about the price .. even sheraton charges only 27 riyals for a biriyani dish .. 35 isnt worth trash there ! .. sorry to anyone who has liked it there .. I would really love to know what kept you comfortably eating in a hopeless place with (..blech) food ! ... Go FFC !! (yes thats what i would compare it with).. and now against my will I would give FFC a 3 star over biriyani hut ! pakistani restaurants are the only ones here that serve proper biriyani ! All the indian ones can eat dust ! :(

yesterday been to biryani hut. tried hyderabadi dum mutton biryani. it was awesome and with one of the authentic preparations. prices are on the higher side. biryani in the range of QR 32.

rates of deserts cannot be justified. gulab jamun is QR 16 per plate.

OVERALL :
feast yourself once in a while. it is more than worth it even if you have to dig deep into your pockets.

No NO, a big no, it is actually a black mark on hyderabadi and lucknowi biryani, no taste at all, it just feels like rice mixed with some chilli powder or something that sort, dont ever try here and price is too high

First of all, Thank you Rethika for letting us know abt this new joint..
I was there last eveninig with my Wife , as she was insisting to visit a new place bored of other same old Outlets,
I was a little confused before going as i read different opinions abt this joint, but one thing i was sure of , the price
Believe me i liked the place, so was the food, for those who dont know, this place just started before 10 days, they also served as Complimentary Sweets , coffe & tea, Standard service,
I am sure they would increase the cuisines on the menu as & when they flourish,i would say excellent for starters..i remember abt the sitting arrangement, some one commented on that as well.. i dont know whether you are comparing this with La cigal or Marriot but i would say excellent arrangment 8 out of 10 over all..
If you have not been there to all who are confused, visit once there are not many places in qatar to try, so no harm in experiments....

This has got to be the best Indian eatery in Wakhra, Doha! As per my survey The food is excellent - specially Hyderabadi Biriyani..and kebabs... the service is superb and fantastic can rate 10/10 - the decor and furnishings are first class. I would recommend this place to anybody. BTW, they have non-spicy dishes to choose from as well.

Guys, I had been there yesterday and tried Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani and Mix Kabab Platter.

I would say a BIG NO, NO to Biryani hut. Quality simply sucks, no taste at all. After all it's REALLY over priced. I dont want to even compare it with a Restaurant that sells Biryani for 5QR.

So guys, I would recommend DO NOT EVEN go near to Biryani Hut.

Visited the restaurant yesterday. The interior decor is really nice.

We ordered Arabic biriyani. The food didn't meet upto the expectations of being 'Arabic'. The chicken was mostly fleshless bones. However, the oriental soup and sea food soup were very tasty.

The services offered by the staff were excellent and cheerful.

The 'Arabic' part should be dropped from the menu and they should stick with only the Indian menu by way of suggestion.

I have visited this place some time ago when I read about this in the newspaper. Being a Hyderabadi, it makes me sad that 9 out of 10 restaurants who serve Biryani calling it HYDERABADI BIRYANI are all fooling the customers. It is a typical Malabari biryani rice or fried rice and some chicken or mutton curry, depending on what you order, is mixed and warmed in the microwave to give you a feeling that it is just fresh but it tastes utter trash.

Even the Biryani Hut is no great shakes as they served me something which in no means Hyderabadi biryani and upon questioning them, they continuously persisting that this is hyderabadi biryani. I was so upset that I drove all the way from Al Sadd to Wakra to eat Hyderabadi biryani at this joint....

2 or 3 out of 10......

A small joint called Athidhi near the Saravana Bhavan is 100 times better than Biryani Hut and there are couple of other places like Al Jamal near Badriya Signal, Bin Mahamoud.

You can try it once for sure... coz i'm sure u're not going there a second time.

if you plan to sit and eat or go with family, this place really sucks. the place is very limited and the taste is not that good. not a real hyderabadi or lucknowi biryani.

take away should be fine. but again the taste is not that delicious or good that makes you keep going there.

when compared to the price its like Caravan Bukhara at Westbay which offers a very good taste and food. the ambience too is very good there.
