Lousy service, small portions and overpriced.

Other than that, not bad.

I went last Thursday with wife and another couple. could not hear ourselves talk due to the pianist and singer. 3 out of 4 starters were not eaten- awful. Main course average at best and all for the bargain price of QR2200!!
We will not be going back.
When will many of the restaurants in Doha's supposedly 5 star hotels realise that they can only get away with this attitude for so long.
Ho Humm, I guess it will be back to the Ramada for us.........

My wife and I have been to Za Moda twice. The first time was a disappointment but we gave them another chance. Big mistake. The squid was like galvanized rubber, the sauce reduction on my main course was no more than watery gravy and the service was average at best. not caring to risk a dessert course I ordered a grappa, only to be informed that they none in stock. It is very difficult to produce poor Italian food but Za Moda manages it. Avoid at all costs.

I usually go there 5 or 6 times a month. Personally, I love the place, and I find the pasta AMAZING. The prices aren't bad either.
