The Korean Garden Restaurant offers Korean/Japanese food and is easy to spot along the main road of Al Sadd. The restaurant is medium sized and comes with private rooms for dining and an outdoor mini garden.

The two sets of three and five small appetisers were nice except for the kimchi that was too sour.

The main course was Bi Bim Bab, beancurd in sweet spicy sauce with plain rice.

Bi Bim Bab came sizzling hot. In fact, it was so hot that the egg was overcooked (should be raw instead). Otherwise, it was delicious and I finished everything inside the hotpot.

The beancurd in sweet and spicy sauce with plain rice was tasty too, though it would be better if the beacurd was softer. I guess fresh beancurd is hard to find in Doha. The sweet and spicy sauce was good with rice so I had two bowls without realising that each bowl of rice cost QR10! I didn't think that rice would be so expensive.

I like this restaurant because it is clean, comfortable and serves authentic Korean/Japanese food that are reasonably priced (except for rice) and won't burn a hole in my pocket.

I am really wondered by such comments given by people. Maybe you could be right.
Recently my co-worker from S.Korea advised me to go to Moon Palace instead of Korean Garden. She mentioned that Korean Garden, considered as Korean Restaurant, has nothing close to Korean food.
I did not try by myself but I believe in my Korean friend.

Food tastes very good but a bit off from being considered as authentic. Staff are courteous and friendly. The place itself is clean and comfortable. Overall, it's a great place for a date or for your family.

BETWEEN BAD AND TERRIBLE !! NOT WORTH THE MONEY AND MOST DEFINITELY NOT CLOSE TO BEING KOREAN FOOD.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, FIND ANOTHER RESTAURANT.

It was good initially - they had great and various kinds of kimchi's - I even remember tasting fish kimchi - But now the prices gone up and the kimchi is no longer the same. Even food is no more authentic - but full grading for the staff. over all ok.

Japanese - please don't try - here.

I have been eating at Korean Garden Restaurant and even if the food is not restricted to Korean dishes, is definitely inspired by Asian kitchen. They do have a restaurant supply store that keeps them well supplied with fresh ingredients. Next time I visit Qatar I will visit this place again.
